House Painting in Koh Samui
Full repaints, single rooms or just the weather-beaten side of the house. We prepare properly, paint cleanly and charge a labour rate you can see before you call: from ฿1,500 per painter per 8-hour day.
What our house painting service covers
- Interior walls and ceilings — bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms
- Exterior walls, facades and boundary walls
- Doors, window frames, fences and gates
- Repair of cracks, holes and flaking paint before painting
- Mould and damp-stain treatment (essential in Samui's humidity)
- Primer and sealer coats on new or repaired surfaces
Houses on Koh Samui take a beating: heavy rain half the year, strong sun the other half, and salt in the air near the coast. That's why we never skip preparation. Paint applied over chalky, damp or cracked render fails within a year — properly prepared walls keep their colour for many years.
How we quote a house repaint
Send us photos of the rooms or walls and your location on the island. We reply with an estimate of painter-days and, if you want us to supply materials, a paint recommendation suited to the tropical climate. For larger houses we visit first — the visit and the quote are free.
You can also hire us labour-only: you buy the paint, we bring the tools and do the work from ฿1,500 per 8-hour day per painter. Full details on the prices page.

House painting questions
How long does it take to paint a house in Koh Samui?
A typical 2–3 bedroom house interior takes 3–6 painter-days depending on wall condition and colour changes. A full inside-and-outside repaint usually takes one to two weeks. We give you a day estimate in the quote, so the labour cost is predictable.
How much does house painting cost?
Labour starts from ฿1,500 per painter per 8-hour day. A written quote tells you how many painter-days your house needs. Paint is quoted separately — you choose the brand and finish, we tell you honestly how much you need.
Do you fix damp and mould patches before painting?
Yes. Painting over mould in a tropical climate is wasted money — it comes back through the new paint. We treat the mould, let the wall dry, prime with the right sealer and then paint.
Can you paint while we live in the house?
Yes, that's normal. We work room by room, cover floors and furniture, and keep the house liveable. Low-odour paints are available for bedrooms and kitchens.
